Situation

In an advertising design class, I was given the option of three different brands to make traditional advertisements for.

Task

I chose Fi GPS dog collars and created an advertising concept that dogs are family. I brainstormed tags lines that fit within the concept before designing.

Action

I designed three simple but consistent designs for a billboard, a bus shelter ad, and a magazine ad. I kept the yellow color of the original logo and used a photo-realistic style to give people a realistic understanding of the product.

Result

The final designs all have a consistent style and I believe tell a story that connects with people’s fierce desire to keep their pets safe in the same way they’d want to keep their children safe.
